Andea specializes in delivering manufacturing technology services and solutions.
We are looking for highly motivated, team-oriented individuals that can help Andea grow its capabilities in developing and rolling out manufacturing systems for some of the most interesting companies in the world. These companies produce things such as satellites, space shuttles, cars, and robots that perform surgery. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, designing, implementing, and supporting customer solutions using a MES system called DELMIA Apriso, Andea’s own in-house cloud solution called Manufacturo, and custom development.
Andea is looking for new graduates / junior candidates that are aiming to further their knowledge in Web Development technologies in interesting real-world applications (Andea prides itself on training and building up our employees with many different career paths).
Duties
Your tasks will include (but not limited to):
- Working inside teams of various sizes to configure and develop solutions.
- Development includes: creating screens and business logic, integration with 3rd party systems and machines, reports and analytic dashboards.
- Custom development in C#/ASP.NET, Angular, Javascript, and others.
- Support the functional and acceptance testing of the solution to ensure it meets the customer’s needs and is bug-free.
- Participate with the team in customer and internal meetings led by the project manager to ensure a successful project.
- While Andea tries to limit travel, there may be a need to travel to customer sites and other locations (< 10%).
Required skills
Required attributes:
- Good knowledge of SQL, especially in writing queries
- Working knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C# and JavaScript
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Good communication skills required to work in our teams and alongside our customers to define a solution for their needs and then deliver it
- Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders)
Nice to have and highly desirable:
- Experience with Apriso.
- Experience using and/or implementing manufacturing, inventory, or quality systems.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
