Offer description
Do you want to work with specialists who gained experience in companies like SpaceX, Tesla, or Airbus? Are you looking for a workplace where your voice is heard? Do you want to be a part of exciting projects with global organizations and experience direct contact with our clients?
Andea is currently seeking a highly driven and team-orientated Solution Architect to join our implementation team, responsible for designing and delivering Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions to our clients.
Duties
What you’ll be working on
Andea is a global MES software integrator of systems like DELMIA Apriso, DELMIA Ortems, and more recently, our own MES platform, Manufacturo. Our software solutions have helped companies like CoorsTek, Bombardier, or Sierra Nevada Corporation to better track, manage and optimize their production processes.
As the Solution Architect, you will play a huge role in all phases of our projects:
- Pre-sale, to provide advice to the client while creating the solution roadmap, validate requirements, estimate how much effort each scope item will take, and collaborate with the Project Manager on creating the project plan and statement of work.
- Blueprint, to take part in our requirements gathering workshops with the client, lead conceptual design workshops, then prepare and validate your solution concept with the client and take care of writing the requirements such as functional specifications or detailed design.
- Development, to ensure the knowledge transfer to our development and Project Excellence team was performed correctly, provide supervision, adjust design documents and answer questions as they appear, propose and design solution modifications when client requirements change as well as help project teams with presenting the solution during demos.
- Testing, to support our Project Excellence team in validating that solution complies with the design and help in identifying scope changes.
- Go-Live and Post Go-Live, to oversee and provide support to the go-live team when needed, and eventually hand over the solution to our Application Maintenance team.
- Application Maintenance, to support our App Maintenance team in designing future enhancements and configurations of the solution.
You won’t be working on your own, and you won’t be left to your own devices as soon as the onboarding process is complete either - you’ll be a part of a larger team consisting of Lead Consultant, Consultant, and Junior Consultant, Quality Architect, Tester, and Project Manager. You will also have access to other architects on different seniority levels to support you when you want to consult an idea.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Lead the requirement gathering workshops with the client, not being afraid to challenge their requirements or propose a different approach to find the optimal solution
- Draw up estimations of the solution development, based on the high-level client requirements
- Provide Architect Oversight during the whole project, supporting consultants in their challenges and proposing concept and design changes.
