Duties

Position Overview

 

We are seeking a SaaS Solution Consultant to lead customer implementations of our advanced manufacturing platform. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through their digital transformation journey by analyzing business requirements, designing tailored solutions, and delivering successful manufacturing operation implementations. You will serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through go-live and optimization. This is an ideal opportunity for a manufacturing consultant with strong technical expertise and a passion for transforming manufacturing operations through innovative technology solutions.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations implementation projects from discovery through production deployment
  • Conduct business process analysis and gap assessments to design optimal manufacturing solutions
  • Configure and customize the manufacturing operations platform to meet specific customer requirements
  • Design integration architectures connecting our solution with ERP, PLM, and equipment

    systems

  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solution designs


  • Provide expert guidance on manufacturing best practices and Industry4.0initiatives
  • Manage project timelines ,deliverables, and customer expectations throughout implementation
  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer to ensure successful customer adoption
  • Collaborate with product teams to influence platform road map based on customer needs

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

 

  • Customer Success Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional service and building positive relationships.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience troubleshooting software systems, preferably in SaaS/cloud environments.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
  • Technical Tools:
    • Monitoring tools: Azure Log Analytics, AppInsights, Azure Monitor (or equivalent).
    • Service management tools: Jira Service Management or similar platforms.
  • Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with the following technologies is a plus:
    • Angular/JavaScript
    • C#/.NET
    • Python is optional
    • MSSQL
  • Bi-lingual: Business Fluency in both Japanese and English
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

     

    Preferred Skills:

  • Experience implementing manufacturing systems.
  • Experience designing and implementing real-time data synchronization between manufacturing systems and ERP/PLM systems
    • REST/SOAPAPI  development and consumption
    • JSON/XML data handling and transformation
    • Authentication methods(OAuth, API keys, SAML)
  • ERP System Knowledge
    • NetSuite (Suite Script, REST lets, saved searches)
    • SAP(BAPI, RFC, IDoc knowledge  preferred)
    • General ERP concepts: inventory, purchasing, financials
    • Master data management principles
  • Problem solving and analysis
    • Root cause analysis for integration failures
    • Performance troubleshooting and optimization

  • Data quality assessment and cleansing strategies
  • Knowledge of SaaS architecture, cloud platforms(Azure preferred),and microservices.
